Creating a New Budget

Whenever you create a new budget, there are a couple of important pieces of information you need to provide.

1.

Name your budget. Something simple here, like “My Budget”

2.

This is important. It represents the lowest amount you should have in your checking account. Typical values range from $100 to $1000.

You should always maintain a minimum amount for emergencies!

I put in $200 for our demo purposes

3.

That’s it! You may see this briefly but don’t worry! We aren’t done yet.
